Large Chess Boards
Metal Games Large Chess Boards are based on 2" squares of brushed aluminum silver and gold tone alternating squares. They are framed with 1/2" brushed aluminum frames. They are built on dense 1/2" substrates and have 4 - 1/2 high rubber feet so as not to scratch the surfaces that they may sit on. They are ~17" square.

Marble and Metal Chess / Checker Board
Why Marble at Metal Games?
I decided to try something a little different. The above board is made with a combination of Emperador (Brown) Spanish Marble, and Carrera (White) Italian Marble. The marble "squares" are 1-7/8" across. The silver (aluminum) diamond accents are 5/8". It has a three-stage polished Aluminum frame. Total size is approximately 17" square. It took a while to put together, and it weighs close to 12 pounds. Probably not for everybody, but it does look pretty cool.
If you are interested in this board, please message me. Due to the time, effort and cost associated with building each of these, I will probably only build to order on them.

Black and White, Marble and Metal Board
Another variation on the Marble and Metal board. This one is Carrara White and Nero Black Marble squares, with a 2-stage polished Aluminum frame.
The marble "squares" are 1-7/8" across. It has a two-stage polished Aluminum frame. Total size is approximately 16" square. It weighs close to 10 pounds. A hand made take on a standard board, and it does look pretty cool.

Another variation on the Marble and Metal board. This one is Dark Emperador and Light Emperador Marble squares, with a 2-stage polished Aluminum frame.

Large Chess Sets
Large Chess Sets Chessmen
Large Silver and Black Aluminum Chess Board with Silver and Black Steel Chess Pieces. Chess board is ~17.5" square, with 2" squares within. Chess pieces range in size from ~1.5" (pawns) to ~3" (king & queen). All pieces sit on 1" circular bases. Chess pieces are constructed out of steel hardware (various types of nuts, bolts, and washers) as well as both square and round steel spacers. One set is then darkened using a variation of the steel "bluing" process.
All components are hand made and assembled. There can be (very) minor differences in configurations and colors based on the slight differences in materials used.
