Metal Games Large Chess Boards are based on 1" squares of brushed aluminum silver and bronze tone alternating squares. They are framed with 1/2" brushed aluminum frames. They are built on dense 1/2" substrates and have 4 - 1/2 high rubber feet so as not to scratch the surfaces that they may sit on. They are ~9" square.
